TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Position Profile

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist and a strategic partner, you will work very closely with all hiring managers to facilitate our growth opportunities. You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process to hire talent across all business units. Working with a diverse and engaged group of employees who get excited about enabling the success of our NFP partners on a daily basis, you will be instrumental in our continued growth plans across North America. Ultimately, you will help us continue to build a strong Employee Value Proposition strategy that is effective and aligned with organizational goals while ensuring we provide a meaningful candidate experience.

What You Will Do at GFD

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to design job descriptions / job postings, and interview scoring guidelines that reflect each position’s requirements.
  • Utilize Paycor and other tools manage recruiting processes such as searching resumes, facilitating interviews, managing candidate pipeline and posting positions externally.
  • Promote job postings on social media and online channels to assist with candidate sourcing.
  • Actively manage online brand engagement and recognition.
  • Promote and coordinate internal job postings and candidate referral program.
  • Source and attract potential candidates through a variety of creative sourcing channels.
  • Conducting interviews for identified candidates for all roles.
  • Act as a liaison between the candidates and the company throughout the recruiting process, to answer their questions regarding the hiring process, provide interview feedback, and follow up.
  • Extend and negotiate compensation packages, manage subsequent offer, or contract generation.
  • Set up work/education references, criminal background checks with vendor.
  • Participate in external job fairs to promote Global faces Direct and its brand.

What You Bring to GFD

Your Experience

  • 2+ years of demonstrated Recruitment experience.

Your Knowledge, Skills, Competencies & Abilities

  • Solid understanding of full lifecycle recruiting with candidate relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA) and Ontario Human Rights Code
  • Experience using various interview formats (e.g., phone, structured, behavioural-based questions, panel)
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skill,
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Friendly interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of employees.
  • Excellent attention to detail; must demonstrate a sense of urgency & deliver quality outcomes.

Your Technical skills

  • Proficiency with Online and Virtual interview tools (eg. Calendly, Zoom, Google Hangouts, Teams etc.)
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Paycore and/or other applicant tracking system (ATS) Is required.
  • Ability to learn and work in multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude to learn and apply new applications and software programs.

Your Education

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or related field and/or
  • Combination of education and experience
