Sales accounting manager

Position Profile

The Sales Accounting Manager is responsible for processing pay and payments for all Field Sales related activities on a  weekly basis and responding to all related questions. In addition, the Sales Accounting Manager will process and provide support related to Sales Operations and Field related enquiries and reporting needs.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure weekly payments, supporting auditing and tracking documents are accurate and submitted before payroll deadlines.
  • Process payment remittances accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and report on irregularities to all relevant stakeholders and groups.
  • Provide support to reconcile Sales Activity related to balances, outstanding or missing documentation and investigate issues to provide resolution.
  • Process Field sales adjustments.
  • Participate in special projects and other ad hoc analysis as required.

What You Bring to GFD

Your Experience

  • 3-5 years of previous work experience as part of an organisational Finance department with demonstrated experience in sales based compensation/payroll. OR
  • Combination of knowledge and experience.

Your Technical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas, pivot tables and VBA).
  • Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks .
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office and Google G-Suite programs (required)

Your Education

  • University education via Bachelor’s Degree, with a focus in Business Management, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Finance.
  • -OR-
  • Combination of College-level education in Business Management, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Finance and 1-2 years of additional relevant
