We’re searching for a dynamic Recruiter to join our team and help us set up for our next phase of growth, in Canada and the US! 


The Recruiter  is a dedicated resource to our subsidiary partners and is responsible for building high performance teams by identifying, screening and connecting talented individuals with business leaders for opportunities within their organization. This role has incredible strategic relevance in the sustained growth of the organization.  

In this critical role, you will have the potential to build a recruitment team to support your success in attracting and onboarding quality talent to our offices across North America. You will connect talented individuals to work that drives change and creates social impact.

YOUR key deliverables

  • Create and execute a recruitment strategy specific to each Partner’s business needs.
  • Utilize and other applicable recruiting platforms to attract, interview, book and hire talent.
  • Work with internal leaders and office managers to forecast talent needs and identify the best source for attracting and hiring top talents to sustain performance.
  • Proactively building a talent pipeline to fill urgent needs as they arise. 
  • Promote Company Brands  at relevant industry events (remote/in person) . 
  • Track performance and output against established targets and KPI’s.

What You Bring to GFD

Your Experience

  • 4+ years of demonstrated Recruitment experience, Agency or in-house.

Your Knowledge, Skills, Competencies & Abilities

  • Strong ownership and accountability to results – you’re self driven in all that you do.
  • Competitive drive, internally motivated to hit the ground running and exceed targets.
  • Friendly, motivated and perseverant self-starter with the ability to engage with a wide range of personalities on the phone and in person.
  • Bold, willing to take risks and think outside the box to problem solve in a timely manner.
  • Goal-oriented to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets and activities. 
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills with an innate ability to be charismatic, socially intelligent, and persuasive.

Your Technical skills

  • Proficiency with Online and Virtual interview tools (eg. Calendly, Zoom, Google Hangouts, Teams etc.)
  • Experience utilizing Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other applicant tracking system (ATS) Is required.
  • Digital literacy skills; ability to juggle several online platforms.
